 Energy from the volcanoes
In 1990 he decided to move to Lanzarote, where he still resides. The colors of the island, contrasts in forms, landscape and the symbiosis between the countrymen and the volcanic ash of La Geria captivated the artist.
In 2000 he began the building of 24 houses called “Los Villareales” on Angel Guerra Street in Tias, which are near being finished at the moment. At the same time , since 2001, he worked on the designing and artistic direction of villas and the beauty salon for Cosmetica Canaria S.L.
He has done exhibitions in the house of culture Agustin de la Hoz, Arrecife; Palacio Herrera y Rojas, Teguise; house of Elizalde, City Hall of Barcelona; the exhibition hall Paty Limone of Barcelona´s City Hall; the traditional fairs at both Mancha Blanca, Tinajo and Antigua in Fuerteventura; the regional fairs of craftsmen in Gran Canaria and Tenerife; the Latin-American fair in Tenerife. He was chosen to represent Spain in the category of wood-work at a tradefair for craftsmen at Hospitalet in Barcelona; the Bioculture Fair in Palacio de Cristal of Madrid ( Casa del Campo) and invited to give a conference on extraposofia (2) at the classroom for nature at the same fair; the bioculture fair at Palau San Jordi, Barcelona. He attended the world´s most important fair of bioculture as a specially invited artist at the fair grounds in Meser, Frankfurt in Germany.
